  8. pEditor is a free MUI based text editor. I release it as freeware since
  9. it's basically a testbed for the textediting class I'm writing to use
  10. in webPlug v2.
  11.  
  12. A little list of features:
  13.  
  14. - Handles large texts with no noticeable slowdown.
  15.  
  16. - Supports real tabs, i.e., they are not converted to spaces.
  17.  
  18. - Macro recording and playing.
  19.  
  20. - Configurable font, colors, tab size, etc...
  21.  
  22. - Case sensitive/insensitive search and replace functions. You can
  23.   use multiline search and replace strings.
  24.  
  25. - Cut/Copy/Paste to/from the standard clipboard.
  26.  
  27. - Support for dragging selected areas of text inside the class.
  28.  
  29. - Automatic line indenting.

  33. - Erm... I forgot to put the "toolicons" dir in the first distribution
  34.   archive. Sorry.

  36. - Add 'find/findnext/replace" to the toolbar.

  38. - Removed the 'Undo/Redo' menus until these functions are available to pEditor.

  40. Please note that the program is simple, and I plan to keep it this way.
